Where can I park?

We recommend that you park either in the hospital car park or one of the other paid car parks nearby. We do not recommend using metered street parking as you will not be able to leave during your appointment or scan to top up the meter. Parking is available underneath the hospital as well as at a number of secure car parks nearby.

At The Appointment

How long will the appointment take?

The consultation is designed to diagnose your problem and plan your treatment. This means that although you have been allocated an appointment time, you may experience some delay. For your convenience we often arrange further scans or injections on the same day as your appointment. This saves you coming for another appointment but can add up to a few hours to your visit.

How do I pay?

Your account will need to be settled on the day of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, credit card or personal cheque.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring all of your previous x-rays and scans, including any CDs with copies of these images.

We will need your Medicare and private health fund card as well as any concession cards. If we have not previously received a GP referral letter, you will need to bring this along to the appointment also.

What will I receive afterwards?

On the day of your appointment you will receive a brief summary of your diagnosis and the recommended treatment plan. If you have provided us with your email address, you will receive a copy of the letter Dr Licina sends to your GP within a week of your appointment, often earlier.
